Old Business:
a. Fundraiser- Delhi Business Association and the DTVA are holding a Sweetheart Swing dance
on February 14, 2009. Some issues still need to be ironed out as of door prize donations, split the pot,
and so forth. Also a question if we can have alcohol as a door prize.
b. Stolen Valor Act- It is a crime to falsify a claim that a person received a badge or medal that
Congress authorized. Punishment can be 1 year in jail or a $100,000 fine.
c. Lapel pin—Commander asked if any member who is entitled for a pin needed a lapel pin.
d. Cold War Veterans- There is still an effort to get Cold War veterans a Cold War Medal. Former
Secretary of Defense Rumsfeld blocked the medal from advancing to reality.
Motion was made and 2nd and passed to adjourn.
Meeting ended at 8:30.
Respectfully submitted,
Jeff Lefler, Secretary
