Proud: To author the By-Laws of DTVA, Suggested the area of the Monument to be a memorial
park, helped with the tax exempt status and all other paper work, processed all the
veteran names and the placement of the names on the wall, editor of The Veteran
Newsletter, created the website, bringing the KIA next of kin angle to the Board.

Proudest: To see the people find the names that they submitted to be on the monument and to
see how that affects them-sometimes with a tears or by gently touching the engraved
name. All the hard work is realized and you know it was all worth it.

I have met many people who had many stories to tell about their military experience. I am
enlightened by all those stories and comforting to know that there are other families that had to
endure the next of kin ordeal as our family.

I am also lucky to work and have gotten to know a great bunch of people  in my experience as
Secretary, especially the men and woman, past and present, on the Board. They are dedicated
to ensuring that veterans are honored and to ensure the DTVA continues to be a success. To
Don-Thanks. You asked me to be part of this and I could never come close to doing something
for my brother if you hadn't invited me.

No one will remember Jeff Lefler. But if I did anything to help people remember Cliff, his fallen
comrades, and other veterans; then my time was worth it.

Hobbies: Working out, traveling (44 states), Honduras, Guatemala, Vatican City, Italy, Greece,
                 Canada.

Pets: Jypsy (Boston Terrier,
8 years), Skeeter (cockatiel 15 years old)
