Journal of the Membership Meetings
The June 9, 2009 meeting of the Delhi Township Veterans Association was called to order by Commander
Osterfeld at 7:30 p.m.
Commander Osterfeld welcomed all present and led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag.
The roll call of the officers was held and a quorum was established. There were 23 members and guests at the
meeting. Roll call of officers taken: Trustee Chisholm was absent.
Secretary Lefler read the Journal of the Minutes from last April’s meeting. There was a motion for the Journal of
the Minutes for May to be approved. The motion was 2nd and passed. The Journal was filed.
There were no bills that were announced and passed.
The treasurer’s report was read, approved and filed for audit.

Presentations:
DTVA gave a check of $100 to the Delhi Township Fire Department to sponsor a hole at their golf outing.
Delhi Fire Chief Zoz gave a presentation about the Delhi Fire Department.
Old Business:
a. Kroger Grill Out on July 4th and fundraiser on July 5th. Sign up sheet passed around.
b. Dance at Legion Hall on Saturday, June 27 8-midnight—Sell Tickets!!!!!
c. Update on the names to be engraved on the wall.
d. Update on the Biggs 6th sense. Still a few days left for contributions.
e. Report on the sales at the Memorial Ceremony.
New Business
a. Election of officers. Jeff Lefler, Bob Burke, and Jerry Morris were reelected to their respectful positions of
Secretary, Treasurer, and Trustee-4. Howard L Brinkdoepke was elected to Trustee-3. All positions are for 2 year
terms expiring on June 26, 2011.
b. Split the Pot tickets will be sent out in July by Mike Bender for a drawing to be held at our meeting in
September.
c. Can we a pole for the Gazebo on Delhi Pike? It was advised that the Delhi Business Assoc. was responsible
for the gazebo.
d. Emails about bibles being burned is a hoax.
e. Vice Commander Armstrong will speak at Bayley Place.
f. George Ontrup suggested that he may know of a group that will donate the cost of a new wall for the Wall of
Honor.
Motion was made and 2nd and passed to adjourn.
Meeting ended at 8:30.
