Journal of the Meetings

      The March 11, 2008 meeting of the Delhi Township Veterans Association was called to order by Commander
Donald Osterfeld at 7:30 p.m.

Commander Osterfeld welcomed all present and led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag.
     The roll call of the officers was held and a quorum was established.  Trustee Cox was absent.

There were 27 members and guests present at the meeting.

     There was a motion for the Journal of the Minutes to be approved. The motioned was 2nd and passed.
There was 0 bill that were announced or passed by the Board
    The treasurer’s report was read, approved and filed for audit.        
     The secretary’s report was read, approved and filed.

Issues discussed at Meeting:       
a.        Walking Tour of Civil War @ Spring Grove Cemetery Apr 6, Sunday, 1pm
b.        Sign up forWelcome Home Celebration-organized by the VA Hospital
c.        Old Business: Memorial Day 12:00 Sunday May 25
d.        Opening Day Ceremony for the Buckeye Tournament is May 23
e.        Will need color guard and honor guard for Memorial Ceremony & Baseball Tournament---see Vice Commander
Armstrong.
f.        New Business: Kroger to allow us to sit out in front of store on weekends---dates TBD
g.        Dinner @ Jim & Jacks Apr 24 6-8pm. Free to Veterans & Spouses. Donations from dinners will go to MIA-POW.
Dinners will be every 4th Thursdays of every month @ Jim & Jacks.
h.        Candidates running for election were announced. Don Osterfeld will run for Commander; Henry Armstrong will
run for Vice Commander; Lenny Kleiner will run for 2nd Vice Commander.

Chaplain Duebber gave the Blessing.

     Motion was made and passed to adjourn.
