Minutes of the Meeting 10/10/06

There was enough for a quorum. Trustee Thompson was absent. Meeting of whole is called to order.

Issues discussed:
Commander Osterfeld talked on these issues
      Recognition of Robert Weber and the 2 other KIA from Iraq.
      Announcement of the traveling Vietnam Wall November 9-12 in Norwood
      Kroger will present us with a check at a ceremony November 9 at 10:00 am at the Delhi Kroger
      Civic Association will present a check to us.
      Dates of War periods and discussions on how to get medals.
      Christmas parade is December 2, Saturday. Notify Jack Ryan who is in charge of the event.
      5 Color Guards for the parade is requested by Jack Ryan.
      $100 savings bond for the Roos family and the Wright family was raised. A motion by Don Gueterman and
seconded by Clem Wolfer to buy these bonds for the Roos and Wright baby. The motion passed.
      Display show will be put on by us on November 12, Sunday at Delhi Senior Center from 2-6.
      Brick for Robert Weber, we will begin the process for the purchase and ceremony.
      November 10 USMC heritage Museum in VA and monument opens.
Secretary Lefler discussed these issues.
      Tax Exempt status.
      A motion to pay for the application fee of $300. Clem Wolfer made the motion and George Johnston Sr.
second it. Motion passed.
      Name on the wall was 630.


Vice Commander Armstrong discussed these issues.
      Logo. None of the logos submitted by the students were satisfactory. Armstrong was giving the other area
schools an additional 2 weeks to submit more logo designs.
